Children and the Kingdom (Luke 18:15-17)
1. The Lord’s Reception of Children
A. The children are not entering into covenant relationship with Jesus.
B. The children are being brought to Jesus for prayer and blessing.
2. The Church’s Relationship to Children
A. Don’t hinder them spiritually.
B. Don’t get frustrated with their immaturity.
C. Bring them near to Jesus.
3. The Kingdom’s Requirement of Childlikeness
A. Childish faith is God is not a kingdom attribute.
B. Childlike dependence in God is a kingdom requirement.
