The Disciple’s Treasure (Mark 8:34-36)

1. Treasure Christ More than Self
       A. We will deny our natural desires and desire Christ.
         B. We will consider reproach for Christ worth it.
     C. We will persevere on the path to Christ.
2. Treasure Eternity More than Mortality
       A. Mortal life is flawed and temporary.
         B. Eternal life eclipses the pleasure of this life.

3. Treasure the Gospel More than the World
         A. The gospel is life-saving, while the world is life-draining.
       B. The gospel is true profit, while the world is fools gold.
